Young SA musos perform in Italy

MIAGI (Music is a Great Investment) has once again created an exciting opportunity for young South African musicians to perform internationally. From the 8th to the 12th of January 2009, bass-baritone Musawenkosi Ngqungwana, tenor Mlamli Lalapantsi, tenor Sunnyboy Dladla (in the roles of Ping, Pang and Pong) and soprano Golda Schulz (in the role of Liu), from the University of Cape Town and the Opera Studio of the Cape Town Opera travelled to Italy to take part in the International Turandot Competition.
